Two Wheels at Parkview Field
(June 22, 2012) – Two wheels will take over Parkview Field on Sunday, July 1st during the 4th Annual Parkview Cycling Festival.
Racers as young as 3 to 65 will participate in eight different bike races sanctioned by USA Cycling. The Parkview Cycling Festival is one of the few cycling events in the Midwest to have two separate races for beginners.There will also be an educational Bike Rodeo and races for children ages 10 and under. The kids’ events are free of charge but they must be pre-registered in order to participate.
The bike race runs from 8am to 3pm and is organized by Fort Wayne’s Men of Steel Racing Club.

Road Closures for Bike Race on Sunday, July 1st
Beginning Saturday evening at 8pm, meters will be bagged and there will be no parking along Baker, Brackenridge, Webster and Harrison Streets.
For race day, barricades will go up south of the stadium starting at 6am. There will be no traffic on Harrison Street between Baker and Douglas Streets. Baker Street will also be closed to traffic from Ewing to Harrison Streets.
