Infant Death Investigation

Location: 7900 Serenity Dr
Victim: Male, 1 ½ Month InfantThe Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 7900 block of Serenity Dr. to assist paramedics with an unresponsive infant. As officers arrived on the scene, paramedics were administering medical attention to the infant. The infant was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. A short time after arriving at the hospital, the infant was pronounced dead. At this time this incident is an ongoing investigation, and very few details are available. The exact cause and manner of death will be released by the Allen County Coroners Office.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Coroners Office.
