News release from the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory:

Drop-In Yoga in the Garden
Classes meet Wednesdays, starting October 19, 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun St.

(October 11, 2011) – Now, in association with Fort Wayne Outdoor Yoga, the Botanical Conservatory is happy to offer our new drop-in yoga classes for all levels. Taught by certified yoga instructor and world traveler Lanah K. Hake, these classes provide a great, welcoming yoga practice tailored to fit the ability level of each member of the group while exploring the beautiful warm outdoor inspired spaces of the Conservatory. Yoga is a great way to build strength, flexibility and tone while also helping to reduce stress and enhance general well-being. Pre-registration is not required, simply show up 10 minutes prior to the class time. A few blankets and mats are available but you should bring your own supplies if you have them. In the event of bad weather, there will be no class on days when Fort Wayne Community Schools cancel classes. Additional class information is available by following Fort Wayne Outdoor Yoga on Facebook, checking the instructor’s website at www.lanahlink.com, or simply by calling the Conservatory at (260) 427-6440. The class is designed for ages 15 and up and is not intended for people who are pregnant or have serious health conditions. All participants will sign a waiver at each class upon sign-in confirming suitable health for practice. This is a great opportunity to try yoga for the first time or simply continue your practice in a beautiful, welcoming space. Fee: $7 per class. Conservatory Member Fee: $5 per class.
