Health care is the League of Women Voters topic for September.
Allen Lauer, who has been involved with health care issues on the state and national level will be our featured speaker.
He will speak on legislation as it relates to health care at the state and national level and remark upon the Super Committee of 12.
This month, we will be meeting at the YWCA on Wednesday, September 21 at 7 p.m. The YWCA is at 1610 Spy Run (Lafayette becomes Spy Run as you cross the bridge by the Gas House). Coming from the south, you follow Spy Run where it meets Superior/Lafayette north to Anderson. The YWCA is a concrete building with a large persimmon colored sign on the top corner of the building. Take a right onto Anderson and then left into their parking lot.

Lauer has been an advocate for 35 yrs, served on the state’s Hoosier RX program, and has served on the board and as past president of United Senior Action Program.
