(Augst 24, 2011) – The St. Joseph River Watershed Initiative is hosting a golf outing at Cedar Creek Golf Club on Sept. 22, 2011. Shotgun start at 12:30. Four person Florida scramble. $75.00/person or $250/team. Prizes, drinks and appetizers. Proceeds benefit the Initiative.
Cedar Creek Golf Club is located in the St. Joseph River watershed at 10000 Garmin Rd., Leo, IN.

About the Initiative: The nonprofit St. Joseph River Watershed Initiative works to improve water quality in the St. Joseph River and its tributaries spanning 694,400 acres in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. It conducts comprehensive water quality testing and oversees wetland restoration, watershed management planning, land management practices and education programs. Many of the 313,000 people who live within the boundaries of the watershed use the water as a drinking source.
