TinCaps Playoff Tickets Go On Sale Saturday, August 27th at 10:00am
In anticipation of the TinCaps qualifying for the 2011 Midwest League Playoffs, individual tickets and group areas on sale beginning at 10:00am (EST) this Saturday
(August 24, 2011) – The Fort Wayne TinCaps are making 2011 Midwest League Playoff tickets available for purchase this coming Saturday, August 27th at 10:00am (EST) in anticipation of the TinCaps qualifying for a playoff position.
“The team is currently ahead of both Great Lakes and West Michigan in the race for the playoffs,” stated TinCaps President, Mike Nutter. “The team is up 3 games in the standings with only 13 total games remaining in the season. While the team hasn’t yet clinched a spot, we wanted to give fans a chance to reserve their tickets as we anticipate post-season games.”
The first TinCaps home playoff game would be Wednesday, September 7th with a 7:05pm start time as well as a post-game fireworks display. “We’ve started a tradition here at Parkview Field to start the playoffs with a bang,” said Nutter. “The first game will include many of the TinCaps great ingame promotions and capped off by a great post-game fireworks show.”
Saturday morning also marks the start of availability for popular group outing areas, including concourse suites, picnic pavilion, J. Chapman’s party deck, and more. Ticket minimums apply for group areas and pricing, based on availability.
Additional playoff games, dates, and times will be announced and available for purchase as soon as they are known, which in many instances will be short notice. “That’s part of the fun of the playoffs,” said Nutter. “You don’t know where, when, or even if you’ll be playing from day to day. You never know what will happen, that’s what’s so great about post-season baseball!”
Tickets for the Fort Wayne TinCaps potential first home playoff game (Wednesday, September 7th at 7:05pm), which will include a post-game fireworks show, go on sale this Saturday, August 24th at 10:00am (EST). Tickets can be purchased by phone at (260) 482-6400, at the Parkview Field Ticket Office, or by logging on to TinCaps.com.
In the event that the playoff game is not played refunds will be available for purchased tickets.
