City Wide Worship Conference Offers International Speakers and Extravagant Worship
Located at IPFW’s Auer Performance Hall in Rhinehart Music Center May 27 & 28

(April 6, 2011) – City Wide Worship Conference was birthed out of a heart to see the city of Fort Wayne encounter God through authentic, passionate worship and hear inspiring, powerful truths that can help God’s people step into their God given destinies.

City Wide Worship is the opportunity to unite the Christ centered churches in Fort Wayne and the surrounding areas in a time of passionate, extravagant worship, in the same vein as Hillsong and Chris Tomlin.

Envision Life Center, a church with a vision of sharing the Hillsong-style worship in Fort Wayne, is the drive behind the event. All of the different roles that make up City Wide Worship are all done on a volunteer basis. Tyler Nickols, Worship Pastor for Envision, along with his team, provide all the songs, chord charts, lyrics and also set-up practice times for all involved. There are still openings for choir members. The only criteria is a heart for worship and faith in Jesus Christ. For further information, visit www.cwwfw.com.

This year the conference is expanding to two days, hosting world class, international speakers, John and Lisa Bevere. John and Lisa are both bestselling authors with award-winning teaching materials, as well as speakers at conferences and churches. The Messenger is John and Lisa’s weekly television program, which airs internationally. John will be speaking on his book Extraordinary, and Lisa will be speaking on her newest book Lioness Arising.

The event is also raising awareness to the global crime of human trafficking, with 15% of each ticket cost donated to Pearl Alliance to help fight, rescue, and restore victims of human trafficking.

City Wide Worship Conference begins in the Rhinehart Music Center on IPFW’s Campus, Friday May 27 at 6:30pm. Saturday hours are 9 am, 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the IPFW ticketing office and range in price from $12 to $35. For more information, call 260.481.6555.

City Wide Worship is a great event for the entire family. “This weekend will be a blow your socks off weekend filled with the presence of God, amazing teaching and worship,” said Melissa Siren, Events Coordinator. Families can worship and experience the presence of God together, and that’s an incredible experience.”
