Ivy Tech Community College wins awards at national conference

(INDIANAPOLIS, March 30, 2011) – Ivy Tech Community College continues to win national awards for its marketing efforts throughout Indiana. Ivy Tech was represented once again at the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations Professionals (NCMPR) on March 15, 2011, in Philadelphia, PA.

NCMPR is a professional organization for individuals involved in marketing, communications, public relations and enrollment management at community, junior and technical colleges. NCMPR provides professional development opportunities, advocates on behalf of the profession and the institutions it serves, and recognizes professional excellence.

Ivy Tech won four awards from NCMPR which include:

Bronze for Electronic Newsletter – Ivy Tech Fort Wayne Campus

Bronze for Best Poster in Division A – Ivy Tech Bloomington Campus

Bronze for Best Class Schedule in Division A – Ivy Tech Columbus Campus

Bronze for Best Brochure/Flyer in Division A – Ivy Tech Bloomington Campus

The College has earned 70 regional awards from NCMPR over the last four years, in addition to 15 national awards for its successful branding and marketing campaigns, including best overall outdoor advertising campaign in 2008. Last year, Ivy Tech received five national marketing awards at the 25th Annual Educational Advertising Awards, including a Silver for the Ivy Tech Magazine and additional awards for radio spots, television advertisements and magazine advertisements.
