campusLink BUS STUFF – March 14-20, 2011
(March 15, 2011) – The Fort Wayne Komets, IPFW, and Ivy Tech are partnering with Citilink for the seventh (7) annual BUS STUFF. From March 14-20, the Fort Wayne community is encouraged to donate enough food to fill a campusLink bus for the benefit of the less fortunate served by the Community Harvest Food Bank.
Collection locations include any Citilink/campsuLink Bus (or Citilink office at 801 Leesburg Road), Community Harvest Food Bank, IPFW (Kettler and Walb information desks or Cole Commons), Ivy Tech (Coliseum & North campus information desks), and the Komets games Wednesday, March 16th at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 18th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 20th at 5:00 p.m. The Komets are offering a $2.00 discount on game tickets with a food donation.
The Big Bus Stuff has collected over 2,000 pounds of food each year for the past six (6) years.
