TinCaps’ beer tasting set for April 9
Brew sampling, all-you-can-eat meal, free pint glass part of package
The TinCaps’ first Saturday home game of the year will feature the team’s first beer tasting of the year, featuring throwback brews and a taste of Mexico. Fans 21 years of age and older are invited on April 9 to sample beers, munch on an all-you-can-eat food menu and take home free gifts.

The beer tasting begins in the Treetops Rooftop Party Area at 4:05 p.m., prior to the TinCaps’ game against the South Bend Silver Hawks. Five Star Distributing will provide 20 different beers at four themed tables: A Taste of Mexico, Throwback, Tenth & Blake and Local Favorites.
An all-you-can-eat meal is also included, with menu items including burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, grilled chicken, an apple crisp dessert and more. Food will be served from 4:35 p.m. until the end of the 7th inning.
All fans attending the beer tasting receive a pint glass and two TinCaps sample glasses. They also have a chance to win door prizes including a fire pit.
All-inclusive tickets to the TinCaps’ beer tasting are priced at $40. A limited number of tickets are available. To make reservations, call Tyler Baker at (260) 407-2802 or e-mail baker@tincaps.com by Saturday, April 2. Fans must be 21 years old or over to attend.
