Annual Taste of Waynedale Feeds Area Hungry
(March 3, 2011) – Kingston Residence will host the 3rd annual “Taste of Waynedale” on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 4:30-7:30pm to raise funds for Community Harvest Food Bank for Northeast Indiana. Last year a crowd of over 600 people sampled the delectable fare from 26 local restaurants and businesses and bid on silent auction items raising $7,500 to feed hungry people in northeast Indiana. This year is planned to be bigger and better than ever. There is a limited number of tickets available so reserve yours today!
“We are so grateful to Kingston Residence and all of the hard work they put in to pull off this wonderfully successful community event every year,” said Jane Avery, executive director, Community Harvest Food Bank. “The vendors make a significant donation in terms of the food and staff-time and businesses donate wonderful items for the silent auction. Clearly Taste of Waynedale is a hit with all those who attend. What a great event!”
