Free event offers helpful info for uncertain times
(February 14, 2011) – Tough times call for innovative approaches. That’s why CANI (Community Action of Northeast Indiana) is hosting a Family Education Learning Event February 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the CANI Head Start site at Hanna-Creighton, 2107 Hanna St.
This is an interactive event designed to engage and educate participants about life skills. Topics will include: Employment, Nutrition, Home Maintenance, and Energy Conservation. The public is invited for a free meal, resume service, youth activities, cooking demonstration, and more. Free childcare will be provided for those who call ahead. There will be an opportunity to register for future workshops. All participants will be entered to win a grand prize.
