Another Democrat has filed for the City Clerk’s race in the May Primary.
Thomas A. Schrader filed today to run against City Clerk Sandy Kennedy. Â Schrader’s name has appeared on the ballot a couple of times.
He challenged Democrat Tom Hayhurst when he ran for the 3rd District Congressional last year. Â Schrader garnered 768 votes or 13.31%.
Schrader also ran in the 2006 Primary Election against three other Democrats and ended with 458 vote for 5.44%.
Clerk Kennedy will probably win the primary without breaking a sweat. Â She will then go on to face Republican Zach Bonahoom in the November General Election – or at least that’s how it stands right now.
