Stabbing suspect in custody

An e-mail from the Fort Wayne Police Department:

The suspect sought in the January 30, 2011 stabbing investigation at 1844 Broadway Street was apprehended by Fort Wayne Police late yesterday evening. Darrell H. Kindschy Jr., was taken into custody without incident and he is currently confined in the Allen County Jail on the following charges:

Robbery, 1 count
Aggravated Battery, 2 counts

This incident remains under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
