The Fort Wayne Police Department is searching for the man above who is suspected of being involved in a stabbing incident at 1844 Broadway Street that occurred yesterday, January 30, 2011.

Time of Incident: 4:37 a.m.
Date of Incident: Sunday, January 30, 2011
Victims: Both men remain hospitalized and have been upgraded to fair condition.
Update/Details:Â Detectives with the Fort Wayne Police Department have identified robbery as the motive in the stabbing incident at 1844 Broadway Street that occurred on Sunday, January 30, 2011.
Detectives have also identified a suspect in connection with this investigation:
Suspect: Darrell Howard Kindschy Jr
Description: Male, white, age 53, 5’11”, 195 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes
Kindschy is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information as to Kindschy’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 260 427-1222.

Details:
Fort Wayne Police are presently investigation a stabbing incident which took place at approximately 4:37 a.m. this morning at an apartment located within 1844 Broadway Street.
Officers arrived to find two victims inside the apartment both suffering from multiple stab wounds. Each victim was transported to a local hospital where their conditions were reported as critical and serious. Names of the victims are being withheld at this time to allow for next-of-kin notification.
Preliminary details indicate that there were at least three people in the apartment at the time of the stabbing and that robbery could very well be the motive. Detectives believe a male white adult to be the perpetrator in this stabbing. No further description was available.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutors office, and the Allen County Coroners office.
