Spy Run Extended Remains Closed for Water Main Break Repair
City Utilities is working with a contractor to repair a water main break on Spy Run Extended near Dunnwood Drive. The street remains closed from Spy Run Avenue to Dunnwood Drive but could reopen on Monday evening.
The depth of the main, the size of the hole needed to make the repair and the equipment required to maintain safety during the work forced closure of the road on Saturday afternoon. Two homes were temporarily without water, but City Utilities was able to restore their service on Saturday evening.
