Mayor Henry reflects on Paul “Mike” Burns
(January 8, 2011) – “A fiscal watchdog, dedicated public official, and a Fort Wayne political legend, Paul “Mike” Burns served his community with a vigor that spanned nearly six decades and five administrations. I served on City Council with Mike for eight memorable years. History will note his roles as Mayor of Fort Wayne and a longtime Fort Wayne City Council member, but he will be remembered always as an ardent fighter for his beliefs and the people of this community. Cindy and I salute his many contributions to his hometown and his devotion to it.”
