Mad Ants Launch Do It Best Read to Achieve Book Drive
The Mad Ants are proud to announce the launch of the Do It Best Read to Achieve book drive presented by Do It Best, The Bookmark, and Goodwill. The Book Drive will run Sunday, December 19th through Sunday, January 2nd.
Fans are encouraged to drop off new or gently used books to The Bookmark at 3240 N. Anthony Blvd, any Fort Wayne Goodwill location, or at any Mad Ants home game. For every book donated, participants will receive a buy one get one free ticket for any of the remaining Mad Ants games. All books collected will be donated to the Fort Wayne Community School’s Study Connection and the Goodwill.
The Bookmark is open from 10:00-7:00 Monday-Thursday, 10:00-6:00 Friday, and 10:00-5:00 Saturday. Goodwill is open from 9:00-8:00 Monday-Friday, 10:00-6:00 on Saturday, and 12:00-5:00 on Sunday.
The Do It Best Read to Achieve program promotes the values of reading and on-line literacy and encourages families and adults to read regularly with young children.
