Pokagon SP toboggan time trials, Dec. 4
Gather a team of four for the toboggan time trials at Pokagon State Park on Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to noon and race against the radar gun for top speeds, great fun and prizes. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest in each division and for best costumed.
There will be three team divisions.
- Youth division: Up to four members, all 15 years old and younger
- Family and friends division: up to four members, any age, any gender, any relation.
- Costumed division: Prizes will also be awarded to the best, most creatively costumed team. This can be a team of up to four people of any gender or relation.
Register at the event for no extra fee other than the toboggan rental. Reservations are not necessary, sleds are available first come, first served. Participants must use park toboggans. Toboggan fees are $10 per hour, per toboggan. A driver’s license is required for renting up to four toboggans. Each toboggan holds up to four people. Time trial teams will have their choice of which track to ride once they get to the top of the tower.
The park entrance fee of $5 for in-state vehicles and $7 for out-of-state vehicles will apply.
