Press release from IPFW:
IPFW to Honor Student Veterans
Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will honor members of the military who are current and former students at a special Flag Ceremony to be held on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010.
The Flag Ceremony will take place at 12:30 p.m. on the Science Building Mall, between Neff Hall and the Liberal Arts Building. Honor Guards from IPFW’s Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will take part in the ceremony. A short program will follow the posting of the colors, including a moment of silence for all service members listed as Missing or Killed in Action.
All IPFW students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend the ceremony to show their support for the men and women who now serve or have served in the military.
The Flag Ceremony is free and open to the public.
