Candidates for judge to meet with voters October 18th
(October 4, 2010) – The three candidates for Allen County Superior Court Judge/Criminal Division will be featured at a Meet and Greet co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters, YWCA and Women’s Bureau.
The event will take place on Monday, October 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the YWCA’s offices located at 1610 Spy Run Avenue in Fort Wayne.
Sitting judge Kenneth Scheibenberger will join with challengers Wendy Davis and Lewis Griffin, both Fort Wayne attorneys, to answer questions and visit with those in attendance.
“This year’s race for judge is a unique one as there are three challengers. We felt this program was important as an educational vehicle for our organizations to co-sponsor,” said Nancy McCammon-Hansen, local LWV convener.
The public is invited to attend.
