What: 5th Annual Chilifest Cook-off
Where: Headwaters Park West – West Pavilion, Fort Wayne, Indiana

Public tasting from noon – 5 pm
$5 entry fee to taste all the Chili’sChilifest is an annual celebration of the art of cooking chili! Chilifest is an event for the whole family providing great food and fun. It is an opportunity to come out and try a variety of chili’s, competitors will be competing in a variety of tasty categories: Red Chili, White Chili, Chili Verde, Alumni, Restaurant, Beans, Salsa. In addition cooks from around the state will be competing in the “casi competition” where cooks will be vying for points to be able to attend the national chili cook-off in Texas. Teams are also encouraged to compete in the showmanship competition, decorating their booths, dressing in costumes and putting on a show. The big award for the day will be the People’s Choice award that will be voted on by everyone who comes down to the competition between noon and 3:30 pm on Saturday, October 2nd.
