Parkview Physicians’ Group hosts interactive surgical device demonstration
(September 17, 2010) – Representatives from Parkview Physicians’ Group today hosted an interactive surgical device demonstration at Glenbrook Square Mall.
Guests had the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations of the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System, which is used at Parkview Hospital.
The device allows for precise, less invasive surgeries that have a shorter recovery time. Drs. Geoffrey Cly and Judith Kennedy with Northeast OB/GYN and Dr. Donald Urban with Fort Wayne Urology are leading the way in using da Vinci for prostatectomy and hysterectomy procedures.Parkview Physicians’ Group (PPG) was established in 2009 to enhance the delivery of quality healthcare services.
