Fort Wayne Parks Amazing Race 2
(August 30, 2010) – Solve clues, perform challenges and tour the city during the Fort Wayne Parks Amazing Race on Saturday, October 2, 9 am – 3 pm. Teams are limited to four members and each must be at least 18 years of age. Each team must be coed (two females/two males) and be responsible for their own transportation. Every participant will receive an official Amazing Race t-shirt to be worn on race day. The starting point and ending point will be Shoaff Park, Riverlodge, 6401 St. Joe Road. The race will conclude with a victory party where prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
You may register by calling 427-6467 with a MasterCard, Visa or Discover or stop by the Community Center at 233 W. Main St. You will need the names, birthdates and shirt sizes for each team member when you register. Put your winning team together today! Reg istration deadline: September 18. Fee: $80/team.
Volunteers needed: Any group or individual willing to volunteer during the race will receive a free t-shirt and an invitation to the victory party. Volunteers are also eligible for door prizes! Responsibilities will include setting up and tearing down challenges, timing teams during challenges and recording their results. Two shifts will be available. Call 427-6467 to volunteer.
