Audition notice for Dark Dance, Deadly Tongue
(July 8, 2010) – The Fort Wayne Dance Collective announces a new performance opportunity for local dancers — auditions for the Halloween show Dark Dance, Deadly Tongue will be held July 25, 1-3 pm at the FWDC studios at 437 E. Berry St.
Last year’s spooky concert Eaten Alive: Seven Deadly Sins attracted seven local choreographers and three sold-out performances, and this years’ combination of spooky spoken word and local choreography promises to be just as good, with nine choreographers and featuring a wide range of local poets and writers.
Dancers are invited to come audition in dance as well as participate in exercises involving theatre and language as well. Please bring calendars in order to determine availability for rehearsals. All dancers must be available during the following performance dates:
- Friday, October 22 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, October 23 at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m.
