The ever popular BBQ Ribfest starts today at Headwaters Park.
This year marks the 13th year for the festival.
There is Free Admission until 5:30 pm Thursday through Saturday. After 5:30 pm, there is a $6.00 cover fee for age 16 and up. All ages are welcomed, however under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Admission on Sunday after 5:30 pm is half-priced.
I might mention here that no dogs are allowed, per city ordinance, at any of the festival events. The hours are from 11:30 am to 1:00 am Thursday thru Saturday and on Sunday, 11:30 am to 9:00 pm. Tables and chairs are provided, lawn chairs are welcome.

For the first time in my life, I had a serious problem with the heat today. Luckily, I didn’t require medical intervention, but it was awfully close! Be careful out there guys!
