Parkview participating in national program to improve health of young people

(April 26, 2010) – Parkview Hospital along with the National Institutes of Health is providing a free program to the community. We Can! is a national program to help youth ages 8-13 and their families improve health and fitness.

Children and families will learn about health and fitness in interesting and energizing ways. Parkview Hospital dietitians and nurses will lead the interactive demonstrations and discussions. Participants will learn how to prepare and choose healthy foods and find out about new ways to exercise.

To register for upcoming classes, call (260) 373-7998. The classes will be held from 6:15-7:45 p.m. May 3, 10, 17, and 24 at Cedarville Elementary School, 12225 Hardisty Rd.
