“Bright Night” Winners Announced
The Downtown Improvement District named the winners of the 2010 “Bright Night” photo contest. The DID received entries from several talented Fort Wayne photographers that captured the essence of the city at the TinCaps game on opening night at Parkview Field.
In order to commemorate the first game of the season the DID presented “Bright Night” and asked business owners to leave their lights on until 11:00 pm creating an excellent way to capture the beauty of Fort Wayne through photography. Those that took advantage of this photo opportunity were asked to send the Downtown Improvement District their photos for the “Bright Night Photo Contest.”
Winners of the contest include:
- 1st prize: $500: Jeffrey Crane
- 2nd prize: $300: Kelly Schultz
- 3rd prize: $200: Lawrence Kilgore
There is still time to vote for the “Bright Night” people’s choice award! This winning photographer will receive a $100 prize. The Downtown Improvement District is asking everyone to visit the DID website to cast a vote for their favorite “Bright Night” photo!
