..RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL IS CAUSING MINOR FLOODING ALONG PORTIONS OF THE SAINT JOSEPH RIVER OHIO AND TIFFIN RIVER.

SAFETY MESSAGE…NEVER DRIVE VEHICLES THROUGH FLOODED AREAS. THE WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW SAFE PASSAGE. NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN TO PLAY IN OR NEAR FLOOD WATERS. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR LOCAL MEDIA FOR FURTHER STATEMENTS AND UPDATED FORECASTS.

  • AT 12.0 FEET…DEKALB COUNTY ROAD 42 ABOUT 3 MILES NORTHEAST OF NEWVILLE FLOODS. AGRICULTURAL AND LOW LANDS FLOOD ALONG THE ST. JOSEPH RIVER TO THE CEDARVILLE RESERVOIR.

GENERALLY CLEAR SKIES…LIGHT WINDS AND THE DRY AIR MASS WILL SUPPORT EXCELLENT RADIATIONAL COOLING…WITH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM THE UPPER 20S IN THE NORTH TO THE LOWER 30S IN THE SOUTH BY DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY. WIDESPREAD FROST IS EXPECTED AT MOST PLACES WITH FREEZE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN NOW TO PROTECT SENSITIVE PLANTS.
