Spring Break Fun
Register now; space is limited.

The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department is offering the following fun activities for kids during spring break:

  • Spring Break Painting Camp: Learn various methods and techniques for painting with watercolor and acrylic paints. Learn all about paint, paper and canvas. Use things like wax, sand, plastic wrap, salt, tape, paste, sponges and more to create your paintings. Learn how to make your own book illustrations with watercolors and paint coasters in acrylics. Make projects to take home each day. Many items will be provided in class. You will receive a list of supplies upon registration. No previous experience required. Students will go home with left over watercolor and acrylic paints, paint brushes and watercolor paper to keep.
    Ages 8 – 14, Monday – Thursday, April 5 – 8, noon – 4:30 pm at Psi Ote Upper Pavilion, Bob Arnold Park, Parnell Ave. Fee: $69. Registration deadline: March 29.• Concoctions from the Kitchen: Learn to make some silly and crazy concoctions to eat or to play with. Ages 5-9, Monday, April 5, 9am – noon at Franke Park Pavilion #1, Sherman Blvd. Fee: $23. Registration deadline: March 29.
  • Bingo, Balls and Bowling: Grab a bowling ball and strike up some fun! Lunch is included, in case you work up an appetite. Ages 6 – 11, Wednesday, April 7, 10 am – 2pm at Crazy Pinz, 1414 Northland Blvd. Fee: $18. Registration deadline: March 31.
