The Fort Wayne City Council meets this evening in Committee and Regular Sessions.

First on the agenda will be a “crime stat update” from Fort Wayne Police Chief Rusty York.
Other items of interest, at least to myself:
“PRIOR APPROVAL REQUEST” Street Department requests the purchase of additional road salt in an effort the keep our budgets to a minimum , however over this same time period, the price per ton of sale has significantly risen due to the number of snow and ice events this winter, this increase is necessary.
I do not see it on the agenda, but Councilwoman Karen Goldner was to have introduced her Gender and Genetics ordinance this evening. She held it two weeks ago.
