Wonder and Whimsy at the North Anthony Historic Home and Garden Tour
Fort Wayne’s organization for historic preservation– announces that its annual Home and Garden Tour will be held in historic North Anthony neighborhood, in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Saturday, June 26th from 11:00am until 5:00pm (EDT). This annual event features historic homes and neighborhoods throughout the city. The North Anthony Boulevard neighborhood is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places, and features exceptional homes in the Craftsman, Bungalow, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival and Spanish Eclectic styles, in a wooded setting near Lakeside Park.
The North Anthony Home and Garden Tour will feature almost a dozen houses and gardens, ranging from charming Craftsman and Bungalow homes to grand Tudor Revival mansions. Free public presentations about period architecture and style and other activities are planned as well.
The North Anthony Historic Home and Garden Tour is part of ARCH’s 2010 Community Education Program, sponsored in part by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, Wilson Foundation, and Lincoln Financial Group Foundation.
