Statement from the Aaron Knight for County Council campaign confirms current County Councilwoman Maye Johnson will face opposition in the next election cycle:
(January 17, 2010) Local business leader and conservative activist Aaron Knight filed paperwork on Friday, Jan 15th making him a candidate for the Republican nomination for the Allen County Council 1st District. Aaron believes that his experiences with both the “best and worst practices of government” make him the leader best suited to represent the citizens of Southeastern Allen County. On Wednesday, Jan. 20th, Aaron will be available to answer questions from the public and the media immediately following the Downtown GOP Club of Fort Wayne lunch at Republican Headquarters at the corner of Main and Harrison in Fort Wayne.
