Press release from the Fort Wayne Dance Collective:

Multi-arts workshop will help students visualize new goals for 2010

The Fort Wayne Dance Collective, in continuing its mission to nurture the creative spirit in everyone, will offer a workshop to help students live the life of their dreams through a visioning process that includes movement, guided meditation, writing, and collage work — all in the spirit of playfulness and focused intention.

Cheryl Spieth-Gardiner and Liz Monnier will direct the workshop. They have previously held “Engaged Aging” workshops for people to age into their ideal self.

This workshop will help participants focus on setting goals, and develop the means to realize those goals throughout the year. This all takes place in a safe, non-judgemental environment and includes fun, multi-arts activities like writing, drawing, discussion and movement.

The workshop takes place Saturday, Jan. 24 from noon-4 p.m. at the Dance Collective studios, 437 E. Berry St.

Admission for this workshop is $25. Please call (260) 424-6574 or email info@fwdc.org in advance to register!

The Fort Wayne Dance Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and its mission is to provide people of all ages and abilities to learn, collaborate and perform using movement, rhythm and language. Learn more and become involved by visiting www.fwdc.org.
