Northrop students raise money for veterans
Northrop High School’s Interact Club will present money they raised to send veterans to
Washington, D.C., to the Anthony Wayne Rotary today. The students’ goal was to raise enough money to send two veterans on the trip through Honor Flight, a local non-for profit organization that sponsors and pays expenses for WWII Veterans to travel to Washington to visit the WWII Memorial. But the fund-raisers were successful enough to send three veterans. The Anthony Wayne Rotary meets at 11:30 a.m. at Don Hall’s Guesthouse.
