Dog First Aid Class to be Held at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control
Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control is accepting registrations for Dog First Aid, a class to be held on Saturday, October 31 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the shelter. Topics include: Urgent care situations, including wounds, electrical shock, eye, paw, and ear injuries, administering medications, managing breathing or cardiac emergencies, preparing for disasters, symptoms and care for common ailments and emergencies, creating a pet first aid kit, and tips on maintaining your pet’s health and well-being. Class fee of $55 includes First Aid manual and DVD, Class Completion Card and Continental Breakfast. The class is taught by a registered veterinary technician. Call 427-5508 to register.
