County Treasurer announces new online Property Tax Lookup System
The public now has easier access to property tax information in Allen County with the addition of a new feature to the Allen County Treasurer’s website.
Treasurer Susan Orth today unveiled the new Public Access Tax Information service, which was developed by the County’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Information Technology Department and ATOS Origin, the County’s IT partner, using the County’s existing iMap system. The service is available by going to the Allen County Treasurer’s website.
The major feature of the new service allows you to search for a property by owner’s name, its address, or by selecting an area on a county map and zooming into the property site. By using the new service, you’ll be able to print out your property tax bill; see the payments that have been made and how much is owed; make electronic payments; compare taxes, exemptions and assessed values of other neighboring properties; see the distribution of taxes you’ve paid to various taxing units over the past three years; and get quick access to your property record card.
