Germanfest 2009 Kick-off video

Just as the crack of the bat signals the start of baseball, so does the crack of the mallet tapping the first keg at Germanfest signalling the start of this annual festival.  This morning, Mayor Tom Henry delivered a solid strike resulting in a steady stream of Bier from the tap.  After the jump is video of the opening ceremonies, interviews with Mayor Henry and Geoff Paddock and the city-wide Chicken Dance.
