In Tuesday’s City Council meeting, it was mentioned that Greg Leatherman, Redevelopment Executive Director, will be making a presentation to the City Council on the finances of Harrison Square in the June 16th meeting.
This presentation will include money spent on the construction of Parkview Field. Â I expect talk to once again turn to possible action against Barry Real Estate concerning the lack of progress with The Harrison.
I’m also expecting that in the Redevelopment Commission meeting on June 15th, Greg will deliver the same presentation to Commission members as sort of a warm-up.
Also expect a groundbreaking for the Courtyard by Marriott hotel sometime the end of this month, beginning of July.

Stephen – Do you know if Leatherman has gotten an answer from White Lodging on how they fulfilled the requirements of their contract with the city in regards to using qualified, competitive, Allen County contractors and suppliers? Or will he be discussing this also at the council meeting?
