The 3rd Annual Cancer Free Lungs walk is this Sunday at Headwaters Park West. Â The festivities kick off at 1 pm with registration starting earlier at noon. Â Official Lungs for Life website.
About Lungs for Life:
We are a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization created in March of 2004. Lungs for Life strives to reduce the burden of lung cancer by providing knowledge and support through education, prevention and research. We are one of the only nonprofit organizations in Indiana supporting lung cancer awareness and research and are looking to expand our reach throughout Indiana to fight this dreaded disease.
Lungs for Life is supported by a dedicated and talented group of men and women who have been touched by lung cancer either directly or through a loved one. Everyone involved are volunteers for our cause, which means more funding goes toward research and education.

Sunday’s schedule:
What: A non-competitive 2 mile walk. All proceeds from the walk will be donated to redearch and education.
When: May 3, 2009 at 1:00pm, Registration begins at 12:00 pm or register online here!
Where: The walk begins at Headwaters Park West, Circle of Hope Pathway; located downtown Fort Wayne.
Who: This event is open to the public and all are welcome.
