Yesterday, March 26, 2009, the Journal Gazette ran an editorial concerning the news that White Lodging Services had received half their funding. Â I hate to do this, but I have to point out that the rendition of the hotel included with the editorial is not the current one. Â
The above is the current rendition. Â I know the JG has this as they’ve printed it with stories before.
I really hate to do this all the time – I know everyone makes mistakes – MYSELF included. Â But, unlike the media, I don’t have someone looking over my shoulder to correct things before I post. Â This is a pretty minor thing in the bigger picture view. Â However, it is symptomatic of the problems in the media outlets today. Â This is the third issue in a week Mitch Harper and myself have identified with the local media’s reporting. Â
