I’m a little late with this.  On March 3, 2009, former Indiana Governor Joe Kernan, current Governor Mitch Daniels and Marilyn Shultz, Executive Director of MySmartgov, came to Fort Wayne to participate in a Rally for Local Government Reform.  The rally was sponsored by The Chamber and MySmartgov.  Each of the speakers were introduced by Marilyn Moran-Townsend and spoke briefly about their take on local government reform.  The audience was then invited to submit questions which were fielded by the panel.
Most of the questions and discussion centered around township government. Â A play list is available on YouTube that features all of the rally and is included below. Also on this page are two video clips, one of Governor Mitch Daniels, the other of former Governor Joe Kernan. I had the occasion to ask them each a quick question.
