The Fort Wayne City Council meets tomorrow evening in Comittee and Regular Sessions at the City-County Building at 5:30 pm, room 128. Â There are also several public hearings on the agenda as well. Â The agenda may be downloaded here, while the ordinances up for introduction in the Regular Session may be downloaded here.
There are four public hearings to be conducted. Â One involves the appropriation of money for the City’s 2009 Budget, two are concerning “Economic Revitalization Area” designations at Eddy’s Ice Cream and North American Van Lines, while the fourth hearing concerns the vacating of public right-of-way of a portion of Fairmount Place. Â This last item concerns the Charis House development, more on this in another post.
The Commercial Code ordinances make a reappearance in Committee Session. Â They were held over to allow some changes. Â They’ll be brought back for further discussion as well as some ammendments by Councilman Mitch Harper. Â I’d look for these to be passed this evening.
