City Council Agenda – 12/2/2008

The Fort Wayne City Council meets tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2nd 2008 at the City Council building.  The agenda may be downloaded here.  Irene Walters is scheduled to appear before the City Council with a “special guest”.  A press release from IPFW indicates that a historic document collection will be making a special visit to Fort Wayne. 

Also on the agenda will be a “discussion” of the High Performance Government Network contract.  An ordinance approving the contract is not on the agenda, so it should be interesting to see the direction this takes.

City Council will be talking trash as several waste disposal contracts are up for discussion.  Also up for discussion is an ordinance to increase the amount for the leaf disposal purchase order with Serv-All.  Didn’t they cut a leaf pick-up this year?  Should be interesting to see what this is all about.

Also to be discussed is the purchase of passenger vehicles for the City and a $30 Million purchase of County Economic Development Income Tax Revenue Bonds.
