One of the Light Towers at Parkview Field has been erected. Â Nothing says sporting venue like a classic light tower! Â I walked a several block radius of the ballpark this afternoon and that tower is visible from everywhere! Â This tower is near the Ewing Street and Jefferson Boulevard intersection and has been placed on the concourse level. Â One of the interesting things about these towers is that each light has it’s own motor and ability to be spotted remotely rather than the old fashioned way of getting out the ladder and climbing. Â Well, ok, they don’t use ladders for it, but you get the idea.
