I’d planned to present a summary of the Fort Wayne City Council Budget Hearings yesterday. Â However, since an extra session has been added for tonight, I will be posting the recap sometime over the next couple of days along with audio and the various visual presentations made to Council. Â The session will start at 5:30 pm in the Council Chambers in the City-County Building. Â The main focus will be the CEDIT Bond financing and other loose ends that remain. Â In the meantime, a new poll question is running concerning the 2009 City Budget. Â Keep in mind that the Council has proposed a 3% cut to the budget which would equate to about $4.5 Million. Â This is half the projected shortfall in 2010 due to House Bill 1001.
