No money to travel this holiday weekend? How about a jaunt downtown to Freimann Square. In the Southeast corner of the park, along the Arts United Center and Plaza, is planted a stand(?) of Palm Trees. These four trees are almost 8 foot tall. If you close you eyes, walk down the central path between the trees and listen for the fountain, you can almost imagine being on a beach! Enjoy!
Hats off to the Parks Department for once again surprising us with their versatility in plantings. The season is once again shaping up to be a beautiful plethora of colors and sights!
