The Annual Fort Wayne Cherry Blossom Festival will be held Sunday, April 13, 1:00- 6:00 p.m. in Freimann Square, the Arts United Center and Fort Wayne Museum of Art.Â
Enjoy Japanese games and crafts, the Taste of Japan food vendors, martial arts Dojo demonstrations, and Bonsai displays. See the exhibit of nationally known illustrator, Allen Say, as well as exhibits of local Japanese artists. Watch Haiku presentations and view or try to create Anime art. There will be special performances by internationally known Koto player Yoko Kimura from Japan, professional local musicians such as Daniel Quinn, Dorothy Kittaka and others, Indianapolis Minyo Dancers, Taiko Drummers, and the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir. This exciting family event is free, with a voluntary donation at the door for performances in the Arts United Centre.
