On February 14, 2025, at 0013 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to an area hospital in reference to a walk-in shooting victim.

After a Child Sexual Abuse investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Brayden Keener on February 12, 2025, for the charges listed above who was taken into custody that afternoon by Officers from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department-Warrants Division.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported house fire on February 13, 2025, at 2232 hours, in the 600 block of Warwick Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Today, Lorraina Rakes was sentenced by United States District Court Chief Judge Holly Brady after pleading guilty to providing firearms to a person she knew was a convicted felon.

Today, John Gierek, 35 years old, of Streamwood, Illinois, was sentenced by United States District Court Chief Judge Holly A. Brady, after pleading guilty to two counts of Using an Interstate Commerce Facility in the Commission of a Murder-for-Hire.

The Allen County Coroner's Office has identified and made notification to the next of kin of the deceased individual that was found on the playground in the 1100 block of Fayette Drive on February 10, 2025.

On February 12, 2025, at 0135 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Eden Street.

Today, Dontae L. Salter, 30 years old, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was sentenced by United States District Court Chief Judge Holly A. Brady after pleading guilty to distributing methamphetamine.

On February 11, 2025, at 0248 hours, the Fort Wayne Homicide Task Force located and arrested a male juvenile suspect in Monday's robbery and murder in the 1200 block of Fayette Drive.
