News release from The Chamber:
The Chamber announces Mike Landram as new interim president and CEO
The Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors announces today the promotion of Mike Landram as the organization’s new interim president and CEO, effective immediately. The Chamber board voted to promote Landram at a meeting held this morning. Landram replaces outgoing Chamber president and CEO Kristine Foate who tendered her resignation this morning.
Landram is a five-year veteran of the Chamber staff, serving in a variety of key roles and capacities, most recently as vice president of workforce development. “Mike’s extensive experience with the Chamber, along with his deep understanding of our business community, make him the ideal candidate to lead the Chamber at this time,” Ben Eisbart, a member of the Chamber board’s executive committee and vice president of human resources for Steel Dynamics, explained. “As the board continues to focus on positioning the Chamber for long-term success and relevance, we believe this move is in the best interest of its staff and members. We are grateful to Kristine for her service and dedication to the Chamber during her time as president and CEO.”
Landram will serve as the Chamber’s interim president and CEO until a permanent replacement is hired. The Chamber board is expected to form a hiring committee in the coming weeks to begin searching for a full-time Chamber president and CEO. Landram will be among those considered for the position on a permanent basis.
